The St Bonaventure's Parish Finance Council

What We Do

We are a group of seven parishioners appointed by the Parish Priest to monitor parish finances and to advise on matters regarding finance and parish property. We assist Fr. Tom in determining the correct use of Parish finances, ensure that Health & Safety requirements are met, and promote income-raising measures such as the 200 Club, Gift Aid, development funds and the weekly collections.

We also consider the fabric of the Parish buildings and where best to invest the monies so generously given by the Parish community Parishes are directed by Canon Law to form Finance Councils and the constitution of Saint Bonaventure’s Parish Finance Council meets Diocesan requirements.
